So why haven't you bought a new Mac? They can run all your "necessary" PC apps in a safe sandbox via Parallels or VMWare (beta).
(Okay, Bert, I know your reason. ;^) Price. But find something comparable before you say it.)
Did I forget to mention that these things are fast? Just as fast as PCs these days. *sigh*

And why not get a Mac? Well, right now, I don't need one--my $500 Wintel clone does just about everything I need to do.
Well, when you find that your clone doesn't meet most of your needs, then you could buy a Mac (and be virus-/spyware-/trojan-free) and move your MS OS onto it and have the best of both.
