"This proposed constitutional amendment will define a person in Colorado as a human being from the moment of fertilization, the moment when life begins," according to a statement at the sponsoring group, Colorado for Equal Rights.

And, now for some good news!
Colorado, the first State in the Union to legalize abortion, is set to put an amendment to our (State) constitution regarding the personhood of the unborn. It required ~76,000 signatures. ~130,000 signatures were gathered. :^)
